Workshops for Children and Young Adults
These workshops have been designed to include the young folk at festivals.
Too often they see the adults having a good time and feel left out.
Here is a chance to include them in the experience and provide them with a focus that will last them long after the event has passed.

Drum Circle Workshop
for Children
This workshop is intended for children
from ages 7 to 19. You don’t have
to be old to have fun at the fire. Come
to out workshop and find out what all the fuss is about.
Then when the fires at the circle begin, come join us to drum for
joy!
This workshop includes basic rhythms and improvisation. We will also work with the relationship between the dancer, drummer and the fire.
If you want to participate with the drum circle, but not sure what you would like to do, please join us. Other Instruments are welcome such as tambourines, shakers, bells and other percussion instruments.
You won’t believe
how good you sound until you hear it!
Note to the
coordinator:
The workshop may be scheduled "Friday and Saturday Morning" with an open invitation to play at the fire. Please schedule the workshop for a maximum of one hour. Having the workshop broken into two days for an hour each helps focus limited attention spans and improves memory retention.
